Summary

The purpose of this design challenge was to increase the use of alternative transportaion. By employing computer-mediated persuasion techniques, my team and I -- through contextual interviews, observations, prototyping and experience testing -- designed a system that intervenes during trip planning to motivate and sustain the use of alternative transit methods. This work won first place CHI 2007 student design competition.
